Each subsystem specification (120.1) refers to subassembly specifications (140.1) of the subassemblies of the subsystem. The generated configuration lists the subassembly variants (240.1) of which the product is composed. Once a subsystem specification (120.1) has been selected, only the subassembly specifications (140.1) of said selected subsystem specification (120.1) can be selected.
