An oscillating wet shaver comprises a housing sheath at 90[deg] to the plane of the grip with a piezoelectric drive unit (10), a housing (26) with pressure plate (9) and pre-tensioning screw adjustment (21) and a removable blade cartridge (2) on a coupling (4). The grip holds control and battery charging electronics and is of insulated plastic.
