The waste food comminution system has a first chamber (2) with a lid (8) and a piston (10) on a hand-driven (7) spindle (9). It drives the waste food through an aperture (20) onto a chopping knife (12) followed by a chamber (3) with a worm drive unit (14) moving waste food toward several cylindrical milling cutters (15). The worm and milling cutters are driven by an electric motor (5). The milled waste food runs down a gutter (16), through an aperture (21) into a compressing chamber (4) with an outlet opening (18,19). The box (1) containing the comminution mechanism is transparent.
