The double-walled storage tank for aggressive fluids has an outer wall (10) and an inner wall layer (22) form by a polyethylene film provided with knobs on the outwards orientated surface side. The storage tank has a baseplate (16,18) upon which is laid the polyethylene knobbed plate. The space between the outer wall and the inner wall layer is connected to the space between the baseplate and knobbed plate. The inner wall layer and the knobbed plate on the bottom side are welded to the circumferential rim of the baseplate and angled on the outer edge formed thereupon.
