<p>A ball valve for the shut-off of fluid in industrial plants, for example oil plants, comprises a valve body (11), defining inside a substantially spherical cavity (12) in fluid communication with the outside through opposite fluid inlet and outlet mouths (14, 15), aligned along an axis (XX), and a plug (13) crossed by a duct (29) and retained in said cavity (12) by support and guide means (27) in an angularly movable way around a rotation axis (YY) under the action of control means (26) between an open position wherein the mouths (14, 15) are in mutual fluid communication through the duct (29) and a fluid shut-off closed position wherein the duct (29) is moved away from said mouths (14, 15), the rotation axis (YY) of the plug (13) forming an acute angle (alpha) with said axis (XX) of the mouths (14, 15) are in mutual fluid communication through the duct (29) and a fluid shut-off closed position wherein the duct (29) is moved away from said mouths (14, 15), the rotation axis (YY) of the plug (13) forming an acute angle (alpha) with said axis (XX9 of the mouths (14, 15).</p> |
