<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a door frame with a molding capable of reducing the weight of the door frame by forming a thin-walled design part which does not contribute to the rigidity when reducing the cost by forming the design part of the door frame for an automobile of an iron-made member. <P>SOLUTION: In the door frame, an iron-made thin-walled frame molding 3 is mounted on an iron-made door frame body 2. The door frame body 2 is provided by roll-forming, and has a mount part 27 with both edges 271, 272 overlapped on the outer side of the automobile. The frame molding 3 has a molding design part 30 and two leg parts 31, 32 erected on the inner side of the automobile after returned from both edges to each back side. An abutting bent part 33 is formed on a tip of one leg part 31, and a stepped portion 23 is formed on a corresponding part of the mount part 27 of the door frame body 2. Both leg parts 31, 32 of the frame molding 3 are housed over the mount part 27 of the door frame body 2, and the abutting bent part 33 is stopped at the fixed position specified by the corresponding stepped portion 23, the frame molding 3 is mounted on the door frame body 2 by the spot welding. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
