<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wheel bearing device whose manufacturing processes are simplified and which is easily mounted on a different type of vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: The wheel bearing device B comprises an outward member 1 having double-row sectionally circular arc raceway surfaces 2 on an inner periphery 1a, an inward member 3 having sectionally circular arc raceway surfaces 4 on the outer periphery, opposed to the raceway surfaces 2, respectively, double-row rolling elements 5 laid between the double-row raceway surfaces 2, 4, a body mounting flange 6 provided on an outer periphery 1b of the outward member 1, and a wheel mounting flange 7 provided on the outer periphery 3b of the inward member 3. At least one of the flanges 6, 7 is formed of a disc body with an opening portion at the center. On the outer periphery of the member on which at least one flange is provided, collar portions 13, 14 are protruded along the peripheral direction.
