<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus in which a first cartridge and a second cartridge are detachably disposed, spaces for paths along which they are attached or detached can be saved and thus the apparatus can be miniaturized, and to provide photoreceptor cartridges, developing cartridges, and process cartridges which can be detachably attached to the image forming apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: In each processing accommodation section 12 to which a drum cartridge 21 and the developing cartridge 32 are attached, a scanner casing 35 is disposed so as to project forward from a partition plate 10. In each developing accommodation section 14, with the developing cartridge 32 attached to the drum cartridge 31, the passage of the drum cartridge 32 is restricted.
