<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable reservation of next or later printing during the printing of an image in a direct print system having a digital camera and a printer. <P>SOLUTION: This direct print system comprises a digital camera coupled by a wired or wireless communication line. The digital camera manages a print reservation queue in an inner memory to control the printing.
