<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric connector capable of protecting a surrounding circuit board. <P>SOLUTION: This electric connector 1 is provided with an insulating connector housing 3 holding a plurality of contacts 4 and attached to a surface of the circuit board 2 and a circular outer fitting member 5 as a circuit board protection part surrounding an outer circumferential surface 3a of the connector housing 3 for protecting the circuit board 2 around the connector housing 3.
