PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing an optical disk device capable of suppressing positional shifting between a motor and an optical pickup, easily manufactured and allowing recycling. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing an optical disk 1 includes the step of mounting a motor 11 for driving a turntable 12 having a disk D loaded thereon, and an optical pickup 13 moved in the radial direction of the disk to execute recording/reproducing to a mechanical chassis 10 having holding receiving parts 30-A to 30-D formed with predetermined flatness predisposed in a plurality of spots, the clamping step of bringing clamping members from the upper and lower parts of the holding receiving parts to hold the mechanical chassis 10, and the aligning step of adjusting and fixing the relative positions of the motor 11 and the optical pickup 13.
