PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fire detector of a sealed structure that prevents gas or the like from entering a storage part from a switch part, thereby providing long-term reliability. SOLUTION: The fire detector includes a front cover 2; a printed board 8 having electrically connected to a switch part 18 for selecting predetermined functions; and a back cover 3 that seals the storage part 4 of the printed board 8 from the back of the front cover 2 via a seal member 5. The switch part 18 comprises a switch body 21 having a plurality of electrode pins 19a-19c for selecting predetermined functions according to the electrical connections of the electrode pins; and a connector 22 that fits between the electrode pins 19a-19c to provide a predetermined electrical connection. The electrode pins 19a-19c of the switch body 21 are exposed to the outside of the storage part 4 from the back cover 3 and resin is used to seal between the base side of the electrode pins 19a-19c and the back cover 3.
