PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on/off valve capable of realizing excellent operability and miniaturization by restraining an opening and closing space, capable of reducing influence of abrasion and deterioration of components, and capable of maintaining excellent valve seat sealing performance for a long time. SOLUTION: In this on/off valve, an annular valve seat is disposed at the lower end of the valve body 1 for reserving the fluid. A flexible valve element 10 of which one end is fixed is projectably disposed at an proximity position of the annular valve seat, and a pressing body 13 movably disposed along a driving direction of a driving means 16 provided on the valve body 1 together with a shaft 23 as a turning fulcrum pressure-fit or separates the flexible valve element 10 to and from the annular valve seat 7 to close or open the valve body 1.
