PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a resin composition having excellent moldability, surface appearance, impact resistance and durability; and to provide a molded article comprising the composition. SOLUTION: The resin composition is obtained by compounding 1-350 pts.wt. organic filler derived from a natural product and 0.01-30 pts.wt. polymer having 1,000-20,000 weight average molecular weight and containing an epoxy group-containing vinylic unit, with 100 pts.wt. polyester resin. The molded article comprises the resin composition. The organic filler derived from the natural product is preferably at least one or more kinds selected from paper powder, wood powder, bamboo powder, bamboo fiber, kenaf fiber, hemp fiber and jute fiber. Preferably, the polyester resin is a polylactic acid resin, and obtained by compounding 0.1-50 pts.wt. crystallization promotor with 100 pts.wt. polyester resin. Also preferably, the epoxy value of the above polymer containing the epoxy group-containing vinylic unit is within the range of 0.1-10 meq/g, and the glass transition temperature is within the range of 30-100°C.
