PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transplanter made as adjustable so as not to stop its transplanting cup at a position close to the surface of a ground on cutting its crutch off. SOLUTION: This transplanter is provided by fitting a crutch-acting body 45 with a transmission shaft 46 connected with the transplanting cup 22 from its outside so as to become freely slidable and also co-rotatable, also energizing the crutch-acting body 45 in its engaging direction with a crutch gear 44 moving jointly with an engine 14 by a spring 72, also installing an inclined level difference becoming a leading part 45a at the outer circumferential surface of the crutch-acting body 45 in circumferential direction and a crutch claw 67 engaging/disengaging with the leading part 45a from its diameter direction, actuating the crutch claw 67 jointly with a crutch lever 65 in the diameter direction and installing an adjusting means capable of changing the rotational phase angle of the transmission shaft 46 on releasing the crutch by adjusting the axial line directional position of the crutch claw 67.
