The device has two wiper arms supporting a wiper blade and movable by a drive unit. The wiper arms are arranged at attachments, which are movable in separate guide rails (11, 21) by a transfer unit such that two sections of the transfer unit are guided across entire longitudinal extension of a windshield. The guide rails are displaced in different intervals to the windshield or a car body panel and are arranged in partially overlapping manner. An independent claim is also included for a vehicle in particular a motor vehicle comprising a windshield wiper device.
