The method involves forming several bulk mold compounds (BMC1-BMCn), having different unitary colors. The mold compounds are mixed to obtain an intermediate paste (P). A decorative article is formed by molding the intermediate paste. The compounds contain pigments different from each other in order to have different colors. The pigments are mineral and/or organic pigments and/or grains or mica chip. An independent claim is also included for an installation for the implementation of a decorative article manufacturing method.
