The device has a complementary part (1) including a flexible unit (2) whose position is adjusted by a screw (4). The unit (2) has a free end equipped with a roller (3) cooperating with a cavity (505) and a pin (506) of a support unit (5). The roller`s position maintains a casement stud (7) with respect to a frame stud (6) according to the adjustment of the position of the unit (2), where a joint (9) is provided between the studs. An independent claim is also included for a window or a door comprising a sealing retention device.
