The oscillating mass has a body (1) presented under the form of semi-circle. A removable decorative unit e.g. diamond or gold insert, is visible at the surface of the mass. The decorative unit reflects more light than surrounding surface of the mass. The decorative unit has density different from that of metal constituting the mass. The decorative unit is fixed to the mass by setting or mounting. An independent claim is also included for a clock piece including an oscillating mass.
