The device has two side shoot removing assemblies (2), each treating a side of the vegetation. Each assembly has a roller (3) of a vertical axle with radial strips (31) at the bottom, and a roller (4) of a horizontal axle with radial strips (41), at the top. Each assembly, for the part having the roller (3), is mounted oscillating in a vertical direction and associated to a skid (50) permitting to follow the unevenness of ground.
