The trailer has a blocking unit (5) to block pivoting of wheels (4) of an axle system (3) around a vertical axis. The unit is operated at a rotational speed in the direction of rotation of the wheels and with the difference of rotational speeds of wheels of one of axle systems (2, 3) to allow free pivoting of the wheels (4) when the trailer is moved forwards, along a non-rectilinear trajectory and at a speed lower than a preset speed.
