The drawbar has a hitching orifice (9) to hitch an industrial truck to an industrial tow tractor. The tractor`s rear end has a towing hook (10) housing in the orifice to cooperate with the drawbar. A guiding plate (26) guides a free end of the hook, by a traction force exerted by the tractor, between a cross-member and a front stopper (27). The stopper immobilizes the hook in a hitching standby position in a rear edge of the orifice. An independent claim is also included for an industrial truck comprising a hitching device comprising a drawbar.
