Platinum complexes containing chemically modified bile acids, having antitumor activity

A platinum (II) complex which contains bile acid derivatives of general formula 1 is described in which n is 0 or 1 and A is C or the CH-CH group. The complex is disclosed to be used in pharmaceutical compositions with suitable carriers and excipients, as it is found to have anti-tumor activity.
