PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor without the need of special hardware mounting and abundant calculation volume-involved program mounting and to provide an image processing method and an image processing program. SOLUTION: This image processor is an image processor representing and processing shade and shadow space generated by shading light from a light source by an object placed on three-dimensional space and involves: generating light source data having position information on the light source and boundary surface data having position information on the boundary surface of the shade and shadow space based on object data having position information on the object; and calculating the brightness of the interior shade and shadow space based on the generated boundary surface data. In this configuration, the same form as that of the object data is formed by using the shade and shadow space as the boundary surface data. Thus the brightness of the shade and shadow space is reflected to a display image with the same processing as that of the image rendering of the object without requiring the special hardware mounting.
