PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To newly allocate another accumulation area usable on a network, when input data are not able to be accumulated because of an insufficient available capacity in a contracted external storage, in a terminal connectible to the external storage via the network. SOLUTION: The terminal 10 is provided with a built-in storage 11, an input I/F part 12, a storage selection part 16, an accumulation area searching part 16a, and a network I/F part 18 connected to at least one external storage having a plurality of accumulation areas allocated user by user, via the network. The terminal 10 selects the storage for accumulating the input data from the input I/F part 12, in response to available capacities of the built-in storage 11 and the external storage, and compares a capacity of the input data with the available capacity in the accumulation area of the user, when the external storage is selected, and another accumulation area usable on the network is searched to be allocated to the user, when the available capacity is insufficient.
