PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic device that facilitates data transfer between devices. SOLUTION: The electronic device 110 includes an upstream port UPPT provided on a side SF1 of the electronic device; a downstream port DWPT provided on a side SF2 opposite to the side SF1 of the electronic device; and a data transfer controller connected to the upstream port UPPT and the downstream port DWPT for controlling data transfer carried out via the upstream port UPPT and data transfer carried out via the downstream port DWPT.
