PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate an operation and to shorten a time therefor, when changing illumination by an article selection button. SOLUTION: In this automatic vending machine 1 provided with the plurality of article selection buttons 21 provided in a front face of a main door 2 for covering a main body front face, a light emitter 22 provided in every of the article selection buttons 21, and a control means 30 for flickering the light emitters 22 respectively to illuminate the article selection buttons 21 with various patterns, the control means 30 is provided with a storage part 32 for storing flickering conditions of the light emitters 22 the pattern by the pattern, a setting switch 34 for flickering the light emitters 22 based on the pattern when changing the pattern, an ascending order change-over switch 7 provided in the front face of the main door 2 to switch the flickering conditions of the light emitters 22 the pattern by the pattern, according to display sequence, and a descending order change-over switch 8 provided in the front face of the main door 2 to switch the flickering conditions thereof the pattern by the pattern, according to reverse order reverse thereto.
