PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an impact recording apparatus capable of preventing history information of loads from being unlawful altered during transportation, and also provide a packing object in repeated use. SOLUTION: The impact recording apparatus 1 comprises a clock part 2 for outputting time and date; an acceleration sensor 3 for measuring and outputting impact acceleration; a controller 8 for creating an impact history including both the time and date of impact detection at which impact acceleration measured by the acceleration sensor 3 has exceeded a predetermined, prescribed value and either the impact acceleration at the time and date of impact detection or a peak value of impact acceleration immediately after the time and date of impact detection; a storage part 7 for storing impact histories; a display part 6 for displaying impact histories; and a reset switch 5 for resetting the impact histories stored in the storage part 7 and storing, in the storage part 7, the reset time and data at which the impact histories are reset.
