PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide friction stir spot welding equipment where, using a motor for pin ejection for making a pin to frequent from the tip of a welding tool, the pin can be simply and securely made to frequent by the driving of the motor for pin ejection. SOLUTION: Regarding the friction stir spot welding equipment where the objects to be welded are softened and stirred by frictional heat by the rotation of a pin 1, so as to perform spot welding, a motor 3 for stirring of rotating a welding tool 2 having the pin and a motor 4 for pressurizing of straightly driving the welding tool are provided, and the pin is made to frequent from the tip of the welding tool, a motor 5 for pin ejection of making the pin to frequent from the tip of the welding tool is integrally arranged on one and the same axis at the rear of the motor for stirring.
