The present invention relates to a process for manufacturing neutraceutical pharmaceutical cellulose derivative capsule. In the present invention of manufacturing cellulose derivative capsule the conventional preheating of pins to facilitate gelatin is avoided, which reduces the manufacturing cost. This invention provides a counter flow movement of air in a specially designed enclosure over the pins such that the pins initially encounter relatively humid air and as they dry, they encounter increasingly dry air, which does the drying of capsules. This type of drying ensures the elimination of defects such as wrinkles, starred ends, corrugations, etc. At the end, the capsule bodies and caps are removed, trimmed and joined into prelock position.
