OPERATION METHOD OF WASTE GASIFICATION DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remove economically and efficiently sulfur compounds such as hydrogen sulfide and carbonyl sulfide from formed gas obtained by gasifying waste under a reduced atmosphere.

SOLUTION: The method of operating a waste gasification device which gasifies and reforms the waste under the reduced atmosphere, comprises the steps of removing at least carbonyl sulfide from the formed gas after removing hydrogen sulfide from the gas formed by the gasification and reformation; and introducing sulfur and/or a sulfur compound obtained by the removal into a gasification part of the waste gasification device and/or into a high temperature part in front and in rear of it.
