PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chemical polymerization type and two paste type dental curable composition free from scattering of powder or inclusion of air cells and scarcely causing change in color of cured products with time when cured and capable of obtaining good storage stability even when stored at a relatively high temperature. SOLUTION: In the dental curable composition, a chemical polymerization initiator system composed of an aryl borate salt and an acid is used as a polymerization initiator and a monomer having low solubility to the aryl borate salt is used as a polymerizable monomer for formulating into a paste to which the aryl borate salt is added. As a result, more than half of the formulated aryl borate exists in undissolved state. Although the aryl borate salt dissolved in the monomer is readily thermally decomposed, undissolved aryl borate is stable and good storage stability is obtained. As the monomer having low solubility to the aryl borate salt, a monomer having <0.5 wt.% solubility to the aryl borate salt, e.g. hexamethylenediol dimethacrylate is used.
