PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reaping unit for a combine harvester that can surely cutting the remaining culms in the second mower, surely separating uncut culms from other grasses with increased reaping efficiency. SOLUTION: The reaping unit 8 is protruded from the machine body forward so that it may be made vertically movable upward or downward and the second mower 34 is liftably arranged to the rear part of the reaping unit 8. In this case, the second mower 34 is equipped with the grass separating plate 60 on the one side of the cutting blade and the collecting guide 63 is projected at the front edge of grass-separating plate 60 toward the outer front of the machine body.
