Gaseous fluid production apparatus (10) according to one embodiment of the invention includes a fluid container (11) containing fluid (14) in substantially the liquid state (12). A first fluid line (16) is connected to the fluid container (11) so that it receives from the fluid container (11) a first fluid stream substantially in the liquid state. A gas generator (20) is also connected to the fluid container (11) so that it receives from the fluid container (11) a second fluid stream substantially in the liquid state. A product discharge manifold (18) is connected to the gas generator (20) and to the first fluid line (16). A control means is operatively associated with the first fluid line (16) and the product discharge manifold (18) for controlling at least one parameter of the first fluid stream. A second control means is operatively associated with the gas generator (20) and the product discharge manifold (18) for controlling at least one parameter of the second fluid stream.
