Provided is an LCD controller including a mode selection control portion for controlling a mode selection circuit of the LCD controller. The mode selection portion includes an input portion receiving a power-up signal indicating stabilization of power of the LCD controller and outputting a predetermined output signal according to connection or disconnection of a fuse, and a latch portion latching an output of the input portion. The mode selection control portion controls a mode selection circuit in response to the connection/disconnection of the fuse and the power-up signal.
