FIELD: textile industry. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention id designed for comparing quality of bobbins formed by means of different winders. According to proposed method bundle of parallel rays is directed at definite angle to surface of bobbin to be checked, on way of which shutter with straight-line edge is placed, being arranged so that shadow from shutter be arranged in definite manner relative to bobbin. Form of shadow represents, in scale, section of bobbin in place of fall of shadow. In process of checking, bobbin is rotated by drive included in device executing one full turn at measuring cycle. Digital camera connected with computer is included into device to record form of bobbin. Image of shadow is processed by computer in real time. Invention provides on-line evaluation of form of bobbins at adjusting of winders or testing of newly designed winders, thus cutting down terms of designing of new machines. ^ EFFECT: improved information content in evaluation of form of bobbins. ^ 3 cl, 2 dwg |
