PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To constitute a dynamo-electric machine so that it can carry out the reduction of cogging torque in spite of simple constitution. SOLUTION: In the dynamo-electric machine which axially bears an armature 1, which is constituted by stacking a plurality of core materials 3, where twelve pieces of teeth 3b are made, rotatably on a rotating shaft 1a and winding coils in the slots 4a made among teeth 3b, rotatably against a yoke 2 which is made in two poles, being equipped with a pair of permanent magnets 5, the first and second recesses 5b and 5c are made axially long at the internal perimeter of each permanent magnet 5 described above thereby so constituting it as to generate torque which is in reverse phase to that of cogging torque being generated between the end of a permanent magnet 5 and the armature 1, between the recesses 5b and 5c and the armature 1.
