TABLE DEVICE AND X-RAY CT APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a table device precisely grasping deflection of a cradle and properly operating the cradle with consideration given to the deflection and to provide an X-ray CT apparatus with the table device. SOLUTION: A support base 31 is provided with a horizontal driving mechanism 35 and a load cell 36 at the end of the cradle feeding side. The deflection of the cradle 32 horizontally fed from the support base is calculated based on the detection value of the load cell 36. The deflection of the cradle is changed according to the body weight of a subject mounted on the cradle and the feeding distance of the cradle. The position of the cradle 32 in an imaging space is adjusted based on the deflection during the X-ray scan by a scanning gantry 2. That is to say, this table device is so controlled as to gradually increase the height of the cradle 32 as the cradle 32 is fed further. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
