PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rice cooker improving eating quality of boiled rice by eliminating problems such as stickiness of the boiled rice caused by feed of steam. SOLUTION: This rice cooker is provided with a high-voltage impressing means 14 impressing high voltage to generated steam, and feeds the steam impressed with the high voltage to the inside of a pot 2. This constitution feeds charged and hard-to-aggregate high-temperature steam (severalμm or less) to the inside of the pot 2 to pass the fine and high-temperature steam through clearances between the boiled rice, uniformly spread it from the boiled rice surface to the boiled rice in the pot bottom, and improve the eating quality of the whole boiled rice inside the pot 2. Even if steam is fed simultaneously with the heating of the pot 2 for reheating the boiled rice in the heat retention, the rice cooker prevents condensation of steam on the surface of the boiled rice and provides the boiled rice in a state being equal to the steaming rice.
