PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dishwasher characterized by ease of setting up a body and a good sealing property of a door. SOLUTION: The dishwasher is provided with a body 7 internally provided with a cleaning tub 8 having a front opening 9, an upper door body 10 having a slide groove portion 14 and to openably cover the front opening 9, a slide supporting portion 12, one end of which is rotatably attached to the side wall of the cleaning tub 8 and the other end is slidable to the slide groove portion 14, supporting the upper door body 10 movably upward of the body 7, and first and second operation regulation portions 18 and 19 to move the upper door body 10 along a prescribed track to open and close it, and a regulation member 41 to regulate the movement of the upper door body 10 when the upper door body 10 is closed. Since the upper door body 10 is opened and closed by an operation combining rotation and slide by the slide supporting portion 12 and the first and second operation regulation portions 18 and 19, the upper door body 10 can be opened and closed along a short forward projection track or low opening and closing height track, the closing position of the upper door body is stabilized by the regulation member 14, and a sealability with the front opening 9 is improved.
