PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary reel device which enhances the winding work effect of a reel tape around the reel body, enables sure winding of the reel tape without gaps even though there is the longitudinal expansion and contraction of the reel tape caused by linear expansion and prevents the invasion of the reel tape to a pattern area due to overlapping of both the ends of the reel tape. SOLUTION: In the structure a pattern fluctuating unit 316 executing important pattern fluctuating pattern performance in the progress of the game of a pachinko slot machine, a folding and bending position is set such that the pitch between patterns 30 (number "1" and "21") at both the end portions when going around one cycle becomes the same as the pitch between other patterns even though there is the linear expansion (expansion and contraction) due to the circumferential temperature and humidity of the reel tape 14 when winding the reel tape 14 around the reel body 12, the size is set such that an overlapping margin 34 does not invade an inherent area 32 providing the patterns 30 even though there is the expansion, and a gap from which the slit 28 can be seen is generated even though there is the expansion and contraction, thereby the pattern fluctuating unit is excellent in an exterior appearance and a mark of so called a visual pressing due to defect of end processing is not formed.
