PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game apparatus prevented from starting or advancing a game without permission, even if a hand erroneously touches an operation part. SOLUTION: This game apparatus is provided with an invalidation means (a switch KL-1 and relays 401-407) provided in a game apparatus body and changing over between invalidity and validity of the operation of a button for performing a game. The operation of a button such as betting switches B1, B2 and B3, a start lever switch ST, and stop switches SP1, SP2 and SP3 is invalidated by the invalidation switch operation after feeding tokens, so that even if a player performs a wiping cleaning of the button or an employee of a hall erroneously touches the start lever switch ST or the like when performing the maintenance, this apparatus is prevented from starting or advancing the game without permission.
