EXHAUST GAS CATALYST AND EXHAUST GAS TRTEATMENT APPARATUS USING THE CATALYST

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust gas catalyst capable of enhancing the diffusibility of exhaust gas in a catalyst layer and improving or suppressing catalyst efficiency.

SOLUTION: The exhaust gas catalyst is provided with a carrier and a plurality of layers formed on the carrier at the least. Voids and a catalyst component are contained in at least one layer of the plurality of layers. Voids in each of the plurality of layers have the average diameter of ≥0.2 μm and ≤500 μm.
