<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high reliability insulator with embedded screening electrode and a high-voltage component with long term reliability, that enhances the adhesion properties between molding resin and the screening electrode. <P>SOLUTION: An insulator 4 with embedded screening electrodes 5, 6 molded by a resin, and surrounding a high-voltage conductor 1 is configured, such that one or more grooves, slits or holes are provided in the shield electrodes 5, 6. In addition, the sizes are determined, such that, for a groove, the ratio of the depth of a groove to the width of a groove is to be 0.4 or larger, and for a slit, a slit width is to be 12 mm or smaller. For a blocking hole, the ratio of the depth of a blocking hole to the diameter of a blocking hole is to be 0.4 or larger.
