PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide technology quickly improving combustion condition while suppressing occurrence of knocking after deterioration of a combustion condition in a control device for an internal combustion engine. SOLUTION: A combustion condition determination means determining a combustion condition in a cylinder and an ignition timing retarding means retarding ignition timing of a cylinder in which combustion condition is determined deteriorated by the combustion condition determination means in a next cycle as compared with that when the combustion condition is not deteriorated are provided on an internal combustion engine provided with a plurality of cylinders. Deterioration of fuel economy or the like can be suppressed by suppressing knocking by retarding ignition timing in the combustion deterioration cylinder and executing normal control in other cylinders.
