PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coated granular fertilizer having an excellent timed leaching type elution pattern in spite of being a thin coating film and containing much fertilizer components and a method of manufacturing the same without decreasing the productivity. SOLUTION: The coated granular fertilizer has the surface coated with the coating film containing a low density ethylene homopolymer having physical properties of the following (a)-(c) and one or more kinds selected from polysaccharide and its derivatives and has the timed leaching type elution pattern. (a) The ratio (Mw/Mn) of the weight average molecular weight (Mw) to the number average molecular weight (Mn) is 3-6 and the weight average molecular weight (Mw) is 100,000-300,000.
