PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing ammonium diuranate particles capable of obtaining uranium dioxide particles having satisfactory sphericity and having a sound internal structure, and to provide a device for producing ammonium diuranate particles. SOLUTION: The method for producing ammonium diuranate particles is provided with: an aging stage (S20) of aging humid ammonium diuranate particles; an aqueous solvent cleaning stage (S30) of removing ammonium nitrate from the ammonium diuranate particles after the aging stage with the aqueous solvent; and a drying stage (S60) of drying the ammonium diuranate particles after the aqueous solvent cleaning stage (S30).
