<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inexpensively provide an optical pickup device which is excellent in assembling workability, and is mounted with an accurate moving lens. <P>SOLUTION: This optical pickup device 100 has a collimator lens unit 13 installed on an optical base 17, by penetrating and fixing a movable side lens holder 20 which holds a movable side lens group 11 with guide axes 22a, 22b, and a fixed lens holder 21 which holds a fixed side lens group 12 for unitization, and a spherical aberration compensation element drive mechanism 19 which compensates the spherical aberration due to a thickness error of an optical disk 15, by moving a movable lens holder 21 in the direction of an optical axis by a drive motor 23 and a spherical aberration compensation element driving member 24. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
