<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure for maintaining oil in a spindle. <P>SOLUTION: A first oil groove 21 having a right-handed helix shape and a second oil groove 22 having a left-handed helix shape are provided on the outside peripheral surface of the spindle 20. The first oil groove 21 and the second oil groove 22 intersect each other and form a plurality of crossing points 23. When the spindle rotates, the thin oil films formed on the outside peripheral surface of the spindle 20 gradually gather into the two oil grooves, and the lubricating oils gathered in the two oil grooves collide with each other at the crossing points 23, and then are diffused. As a result, the leakage of the lubricating oil is prevented, and further an internal circulation is formed so as to uniformly distribute the lubricating oil over the outside surface of the spindle 20. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
