<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a TV telephone function between in-house sets in a remote watching system by which a photographed image in a house is checked from the outside of the house. <P>SOLUTION: The remote watching system 1 has: the in-house sets 2 always connected to the Internet 8 and photograph conditions of each user in houses; and a server 4 which receives images photographed by the in-house sets 2 via the Internet 8 and transmits the images to an outside terminal 3 via the Internet 8. Each in-house set 2 reports the self-global IP to the server 4 and the server 4 manages global IPs of respective in-house sets 2. In addition, each in-house set 2 acquires global IPs of other in-house sets 2 from the server 4, thus, transmits signals to the other in-house set 2 and communicates with the other in-house set 2.
